Website terms

Swaney Electrical Services · Updated 7 October 2026

These terms explain the use of the Swaney Electrical Services website. The website helps you learn about our work and make an enquiry. The terms for an individual job are agreed separately.

About the business

Swaney Electrical Services provides electrical work for homes and businesses in Edinburgh, East Lothian and the surrounding areas. Raymond Swaney is the contact for discussing work.

Services described

Our services include EICRs and PAT testing, full and partial house rewiring, fuse board and consumer unit upgrades, EV charging, soffit lighting and specialist lighting design. The scope and suitability of the work must be agreed for each property and project. Contact Raymond for the qualification and certification details relevant to your work.

Quotes, prices and bookings

Submitting a form or receiving an automatic reply does not fix a price, reserve a date or confirm that a job has been accepted. The work, materials, access arrangements, price and timing need to be agreed with Raymond. These website terms do not add payment terms, guarantees or warranties to your separate project agreement.

Contact and availability

Send Raymond an enquiry to discuss your electrical work and check availability. An online enquiry or automatic acknowledgement does not confirm an appointment, emergency attendance or a particular response time.

Privacy and messages

Our privacy policy explains how enquiry details and communication preferences are handled. Marketing consent is optional. You can choose to discuss work without subscribing to promotional messages.

Using the website

Provide accurate contact information and only information you are entitled to share. Do not misuse the forms or try to interfere with the website. Links to other websites and applications are controlled by their providers. Website information may change as services and availability change.

Website images

Ask Raymond for examples relevant to your project and obtain permission before reusing photographs or branding. Images do not promise a particular result, price or timescale for your job.

Your rights

These website terms do not replace the agreement for an individual job or affect your statutory rights. Nothing here excludes liability or any right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
